Looking Back #14: As A Blind Law Student: Following A Dream

I admit that ever since I was a child I had dreamed of becoming a lawyer but due to circumstances where access to texts and other resources were almost non existent, I had to put these dreams on hold.

Thanks now to technology and so many years later; things have changed and it is my fervent hope that upon graduation from the University of London England I will fulfill my dream. Not as a practising lawyer but as someone with a law degree who will strive to help others in their struggles.

I have learned that there are lawyers and then there are lawyers. Those who aim to win at all cost and others who look for the middle ground. I fall into the latter category and I'll be fulfilling my dream upon graduation!

There are those lawyers who are popular because of their brash and aggressive tacticss that make them very unlikable while there are others who are popular because of how they deal with clients; standing up with their clients for the rights of others.
