Looking Back #11C As A Blind Dinner Mystery Host
Original Release: 9/13/2020
Then there were the fun times as the judge in courtroom dramas where the audience had to decide who did the deed and then they had to choose the sentence for the convicted one!
Lots of work to have prepared the cast but it was worth it all.
Then the Judge Judy show at a 2014 AGM and having such fun with members of the audience who had no idea that they were going to be accused of certain crimes!
I must not forget our very first dinner mystery evening in Halifax where we, The Halifax chapter of the Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians and I hosted a dinner mystery evening.
We adapted one of my audio mysteries for this occasion and hosted a small reception afterwards. The mystery was titled "the cell phone call."
I am eternally grateful to Dar and Nicole Wournell, Yvon Clement, Brad Larkin, Ashly and Shalien Wornell, and all those who helped and came out to support us. We were extremely pleased with the turn out!
Everyone went away with a prize and we were very fortunate to have received lots of sponsorships!
Laughter was the mission of these events!
I honestly believe that beauty goes way beyond the eye of the beholder!
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller
