Tips from Author Donna Jodhan Using Strawberry Picking To Help Imagine
Original Release: 7/3/2017
Usually, strawberry picking can take place anytime during the summer months or even into the early fall but there is absolutely no harm in exploring the possibility of using this strategy to help boost your imagination and creative juices.
I have definitely used this strategy many times and it sure works! Just think of it this way: Your imagination is in a bit of a flux because it feels stifled and cluttered. You have been sitting indoors for a bit too long and so the white noise, the phones, the text messages, and the emails have all combined to close in on you and now your imagination is reacting by shutting down and your creative juices have all dried up. So what to do?
You need a healthy dose of outdoor activity; where the air is fresh, the sun is shining, and the birds are singing. Fragrant flowers are calling for you to come out and visit and those ripe fruits; yes those delicious strawberries are beckoning for you to come and pick them.
Just think of the wondrous smell of those strawberries as you pick them! Yum, yum! You pick, you taste and eat, and you put so many of these juicy delights into your basket and before long your imagination is beginning to become alive once more and your creative juices have begun to flow once again!
Give this strategy a good old college try and see what you think.
