Looking Back #18A:Final Thoughts The Liverpool Cathedral
Original Release: 6/1/2022
This was probably one of the most enjoyable and happiest days of my life and as I walked with Jilla and Angie there was someone else who was also there in spirit!
Yes! My late beloved dad! I could practically smell his old spice cologne! Sensed him walking next to me and at times even felt his hand in mine!
I thanked God for this very special day; that I could revisit this beloved Cathedral so many years later and I hope that dad was watching as we walked quietly through the Cathedral.
With special thanks to Jilla for taking these images, and to Angie, and to tom for guiding my hands over the various murals around the Cathedral.
To Lorraine for having stayed with us and to Carl and the rest of the family!
"Happiness is a butterfly, which, when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you." - Nathaniel Hawthorne
