Court's in Session Author Donna Jodhan Makes Her Debut as Judge April 2014
Original Release: 8/8/2016
In a live skit that she named "Court's in Session", Author Donna Jodhan made her debut onto the stage of live productions when she presented at the AGM of the Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians in April 2014 in Ottawa Canada.
Author Donna assumed the character of Judge Judie; no association to the real Judge Judy, and she proceeded to use previously coached witnesses to surprise her audience.
First she introduced her private investigator and from there she skilfully used her witnesses to draw her victims out of the audience and then she went to work.
Author Donna combined the past history of her victims together with present happenings to weave her stories. Four people were taken from the audience and Judge Judie examined them in turn and at the end she pronounced sentences on each of them.
All of the victims of Judge Judie were taken by surprise but they played along as best as they could.
The skit was meant to be entertaining and filled with imagination and intrigue. Through out the entire skit, the audience was kept on the edge of their seats and even more so when no one knew who the good Judge would be focusing her attention on next.
Fun and laughter was the order of the day and at the end of it all the unanimous view was that this was a super skit.
Author Donna plans to do several of these in the near future.
